I found the exact issue reported with terracotta cluster and i followed the below to fix my issue.

Hi there ,

Here is our environment.We have 2 tomcat servers in cluster and we have configured terracotta server array for high availability one active and one passive mode and we see that the session replication seems to work fine.
The one issue we see with the firefox browser is that at first time login the app stops working even though we see a valid jsessionId and user authenticated sucessfully and then we refresh and login app works fine.This just happens only with firefox and not on other browsers like chrome or IE.
