Interesting product.

Our deployments support Weblogic and Tomcat but also WebSphere, JBoss, JOnAS, Sun and Trifork.

Any information on when these will be supported? Could be very useful to us.

The Terracotta Sessions product is built on the Terracotta DSO (Distributed Shared Objects) product. Terracotta DSO clusters Java objects in application servers or standalone applications.

Supported OSes:
  • Red Hat Linux 3.0/4.0
  • Solaris 9
  • Windows Server 2003

DSO can cluster HTTP session data objects, and it supports session clustering for Tomcat and WebLogic. We will add support for JBoss in the upcoming maintenance release and are looking into adding WebSphere in the the next major release.

Terracotta Sessions Configurator is a configuration tool included in Terracotta Sessions you use to test your web app clustered on two instances of Tomcat on Windows XP. After you complete the configuration and testing, deploy to one of the supported production environments listed above.

Terracotta DSO does not currently support session clustering for JOnAS (Java Open Application Server), Sun Java System Application Server, or Trifork T4 Enterprise Application Server. Depending on customer demand, these and other app servers can be added to the product roadmap.
