Is there any plan upgrading Terracotta Distributed Shared Objects (DSO) to Java7? We use DSO and would love to upgrade to Java 7 as soon as possible.

Unfortunately it's unlikely DSO will be on 1.7 anytime soon. If possible I would leverage Ehcache and or the Toolkit if your on 1.7

is the new release 2.6.3 using any java 7 specific features? in another word, is it backward compatible? I just upgraded to ehcache 2.6.3, but my application is compiled against 1.6. will that cause problem?

Still works with JDK 1.6
