Off the main page http://terracotta.org/downloads/open-source/catalog
All of the download links for Terracotta 4.1 are broken. When I go to nightly builds I get an xml response of 3.7.7, does anybody know what's going on here?

There is no longer an open-source version for Terracotta in the 4.x line. Check the website for the different offerings.

Well, your website says:
Terracotta 4.1.1 is the latest open source GA release of Terracotta 

And have download links that do not work.

What exactly is going on with Terracotta Open Source ?

It seems to me that there is a deliberate attempt to hide links to versions of Terracotta Open Source in attempt to convince people to pay for the commercial version.

I find this act despicable.

SAG apologizes for any inconvenience with the wrong links on our website regarding Terracotta Open Source. We are actively working on updating the website, and expect by early next week the website will be up-to-date.

Since last June, we no longer provided an Open Source Terracotta Server Array for our 4.x version of Terracotta. Unfortunately this specific page was automatically updated when we released BigMemory 4.1.1, and the incorrect link and information was posted. This is being corrected. Please note we continue to provide updates for our Open Source Terracotta 3.7, latest version is now 3.7.7 available at http://terracotta.org/downloads/open-source/destination?name=terracotta-3.7.7.tar.gz&bucket=tcdistributions&file=terracotta-3.7.7.tar.gz.

We also have extended our BigMemory trials to 90 days, available for download at http://terracotta.org/downloads/bigmemorymax. Please feel free to use the extended trial to evaluate the benefits of BigMemory Max, which includes the Terracotta Server Array.

We continue to actively support our Open Source projects, http://ehcache.org and http://quartz-scheduler.org.
