Hi,

In the topic from 2011 (http://forums.terracotta.org/forums/posts/list/4757.page) it was questioned if it was possible to start up an application if the TC servers are down. By that time it was not possible.

I know that is possible to use rejoin and nonstop cache to avoid the application hangs if the TC servers down while the application is running.

I would like to know if there is any configuration that I can do to avoid timeout connection while I`m starting up my application and the TC server is down.

I would like the application checked that the TC is down and keep running as a nonstop cache behavior.

If it is not possible, do you think it would be a feature for the next releases?

you need to swap from the Terracotta server configuration to the diskStore when the Terracotta server is unavailable
