I am going to use Quartz 1.8.6 in our application to do scheduling task. I noticed that Quartz has released 2.1.x. How is the road map of Quartz 1.x? Will Quartz 1.x still be updated in future if there is any critical bug to be fixed?

At this point there are no planned releases for the 1.x code line. However if a critical bug were found, there would be a 1.8.7 release because it is known that tens-of-thousands are still using the 1.x code line.
