Hi,

we are developing a Eclipse 3.3 RCP application with Spring 2 and Hibernate JPA 3. We would like to see if Terracotta can help in distributed caching.

However, when we try http://svn.terracotta.org/svn/forge/projects/labs/eclipse-apps/ , we get

It seems like your dso-boot jar is out of sync with the terracotta version you are running for whatever reason.

I would have expected that our version checking would have caught this though -- are you disabling any of our version checks? If you don't know anything about even doing such a thing, then the answer is probably no.

Are you using the terracotta eclipse plugin? If so, you can force the dso-boot jar to be rebuilt by running "Build Bootjar..." from the Terracotta menu. If you are not using the TC eclipse plugin, then you'll want to delete your existing boot jar(s) and run the make-boot-jar script

hope this helps

Hi,

rebuilt by running "Build Bootjar..." works.

But, does http://svn.terracotta.org/svn/forge/projects/labs/eclipse-apps/ work for Eclipse 3.3?

Thanks,

Yau.

We get the same issue running that example RCP app with eclipse 3.3, we'll look into it

I've update those examples to work with Eclipse 3.3. It was a strange problem with a missing item in build.properties. I didn't know build.properties had anything to do with running from within Eclipse itself!

Thanks! Without "." in build.properties, classes will not be exported.
