Hi,

It seems that the latest 1.7.0 ehcache is calling terracotta's web site supposedly to check for updates from time to time?!?

Is there a way to turn that off?

Thanks,
Guy.

In ehcache.xml
<ehcahe updateCheck="false" ... should do the trick.

Seems does't work - I've just added the following line:

System.setProperty("net.sf.ehcache.skipUpdateCheck", "false");

Can you disable it by default? It's a critical "feature", imagine all java libraries would do this by default.
