I'm in the process of upgrading to 1.7.0 to support TC 3.1.1. When I dropped in the core 1.7.0 jar, I noticed my build broke because SimplePageCachingFilter and SimplePageFragmentCachingFilter are missing from ehcache-core.

Is there another jar that contains these classes?

Yes, ehcache-web.

It is on sourceforge. http://sourceforge.net/projects/ehcache/files/ehcache-web/ehcache-web-1.6.0-beta2/ehcache-web-1.6.0-beta2-distribution.tar.gz/download

It is called beta because this version runs against 1.6 and 1.7. We have not yet released the next version but we will in a few weeks. It does work with 1.7, and Terracotta though.
