Hello, Some time ago I posted a message saying i had some problems applying terracotta to my projects
(when I want to create a "terracotta DSO project" i get this:

The selected wizard could not be started;
reason: plug-in org.terracotta.dso was unable to load class
org.terracotta.dso.wizards.NewProjectWizard

When I run the examples without terracotta everything works smoothly

I was told to download and install an older version of jre because terracotta didn't support 1.6 yet but that didn't help.

here is some information
-OS: linux Ubuntu
-eclipse 3.2.1
-j2sdk 1.4.2 (downloaded from blackdown.org)
-terracotta plug-in installed
-terracotta DSO 2.2.1

Thanks for your email. While I haven't seen the specific error you mention, I do know that we *just* released the Terracotta eclipse plugin for 2.2.1 final. I noticed you are running 2.2.1. The plugin available for download had been behind by a dot release.

Please upgrade to the latest version. Instructions can be found at:

http://www.terracotta.org/confluence/display/docs/Eclipse+Plug-in

If you experience any issues after the upgrade, please let us know -- I will address it right away.

Incidentally, support for JDK 1.6 should be official by early to late spring.

Kristof,

We don't officially support the blackdown jdk. Only Sun's hotspot.

While we don't support Blackdown, I'll wager there's some other problem here. Could you look in the Problems View for a related error stacktrace or, failing that, look in <workspace>/.metadata/.log for a stacktract that might help shed some light?

Another thing, the plugin is self-contained and has no relationship to other installed versions of Terracotta you may have.
