Yes, because you're using Linux and the default shell is sh (?). This works for sh and bash:

TC_CONFIG_PATH="path/to/tc-config.xml"
set -- -q "${TC_CONFIG_PATH}"
. "${TC_INSTALL_DIR}/bin/dso-env.sh"
