Based on:
http://www.terracotta.org/confluence/display/docs1/Platform+Support
the current supported Sun JDK version is 1.6.0_06
However, with the press release on 7/14:
http://www.terracottatech.com/confluence/display/comsite/Terracotta+PR+07_14_08
to me it implies that 1.6.0_07 is supported or getting ready to be supported. I'm getting ready to do an upgrade to 1.6 and would like to only do it once
What is the recommendation?
Thanks,
Darin

We recently changed our testing farm to use 1.6.0_07 sometime last week. I haven't seen any new test failures that make think that 1.6.0_07 introduces any issues or incompatibilities. This change to update 07 was only for our "trunk" codebase (as opposed to the released 2.6.2 Terracotta code base)
That said, the "official" support 1.6.x version will be update 06 until the next terracotta major release

I noticed that 2.7_stable0 still has 1.6.0_06 as the supported version. Has the documentation not been updated or is update 06 still the correct version?
Also, what are the chances that JDK 1.6.0_07, Tomcat 6.0.18 and Spring 2.5.5 will be supported in 2.7-final? I was reviewing the 2.7_stable0 release notes and it would be nice to not have to switch versions during the development cycle.
Thanks,
Darin

Better late than never. I'll confirm the supported VM version and see to that the website is updated if the version is different

I've been told that the page will be updated when the "final" 2.7.0 release is pushed live. No promises, but that should be done monday next week.

Is anyone at Terracotta looking at JDK 1.6.0_10, a major update (but no public API changes) that is currently in Release Candidate status and is scheduled to ship this Fall? We're considering moving to JDK 1.6 early next year, so we might want to jump right to Update 10.

We're not using 6u10 in our test farm at the moment. We usually only pick up new VMs when the official releases happen.
Since 6u10 is a pretty substantial release though, so I think it would be a good idea to start testing it earlier. I'll pass that along to the QA guys.
I tried out one of our integration tests with 6u10-rc2 and it ran without any problems....but this by no means a statement of support for that version of course :-)
